A really fun project for Runner's World Brazil: An article about "breaking the rules of training" (or something like that).
The client requested more realistic human bodies instead of the cartoony-sculpted ones I did some years ago, so I decided to use customized Adobe Fuse for the models and Quixel DDO for some of the more realistic texturing.

Render test for the overweight runner. Just a HDRI + a shadow catching plane for the shadows + some post processing.

Title and opening page. I wanted to do some hand lettering here, but the client decided to use the magazine's default type.
